About

The engineering team behind the work.

Bright Bridge Web is a web and app engineering company in Provo, Utah. We build websites and software, take over work other teams started, and stay involved after launch. That experience powers our managed websites, custom development, accessibility work, and app rescue services.

01Our story

We started by building. We learned the real work continues after launch.

Bright Bridge began in Provo as a straightforward development shop: businesses needed websites and applications, and we built them.

Over the years, something became increasingly obvious. Launch day wasn't where the important work ended. Websites changed. Software aged. Plugins and platforms updated. Businesses needed new functionality. Developers moved on. Accessibility expectations changed. And clients kept needing someone who understood what had already been built.

So the company evolved around that reality. We still design and build websites and applications — that part never went away. But we have become much more deliberate about what happens next: managing websites over time, taking over existing systems, fixing accessibility issues at the code level, and becoming the engineering team clients can continue calling as their technology changes.

The goal isn't just to launch something. It's to make sure someone is still responsible for it afterward.

02What changed

The work is familiar. The way we package it is getting better.

Bright Bridge is not abandoning custom development. We're making the business easier to buy, easier to manage, and more sustainable to support over time.

Websites became an ongoing service

For normal business websites, clients no longer necessarily need a large upfront website project. A managed website plan lets a business subscribe while Bright Bridge builds, hosts, maintains, and improves the site over time.

Existing websites have a home too

A business that already owns a website can bring it to us. We review what we're inheriting, address what needs attention, and become the engineering team behind it.

Custom engineering still matters

When the business needs genuinely new software, workflows, applications, portals, or business-specific logic, we still scope and build custom solutions.

Specialized problems became dedicated practices

Accessibility auditing and remediation, along with app takeover and rescue, became dedicated service lines because they require deeper engineering judgment than ordinary website work.

Different entry points. Same engineering company.

03What we do

Four capabilities, one team behind them.

Websites

Build and manage new business websites through monthly managed plans, or take responsibility for websites clients already own.

Explore this capability

Custom Development

Design and engineer custom websites, web applications, mobile applications, integrations, portals, and business-specific software.

Explore this capability

Accessibility

Audit websites against WCAG, remediate accessibility barriers at the code and content level, work with digital documents, and monitor for regressions over time.

App Rescue

Take over applications built by another developer, agency, or modern AI toolchain; assess what exists, stabilize it, and keep it running.

04How we work

Use the right tool. Keep a human accountable.

Bright Bridge uses modern development tools, including AI-assisted tools, where they make the work faster or better. We don't treat the tool as the product, and we don't hand judgment over to automation. Engineers review what ships and humans remain responsible for the result.

01

Automation helps

Use tools to scan, draft, scaffold, and accelerate repetitive work.

02

Engineers decide

Architecture, security, accessibility findings, remediation decisions, and production work require human review.

03

Humans sign

Automation can surface information. A person remains accountable for what Bright Bridge delivers.

Automated accessibility scans can surface useful information, but they are not a completed accessibility audit and do not establish legal compliance.

05What we believe

A few rules we try hard not to break.

Plain English

Clients shouldn't need to become developers to understand what is happening. Explain the problem, the options, and the tradeoffs clearly.

No surprise work

If something falls outside the agreed scope or included service, discuss it before doing billable work.

No shaming

Inherited code, old websites, AI-built apps, previous agencies — we deal with what exists without turning somebody else's work into a sales tactic.

Ownership should be clear

Ownership and control depend on the service, so we explain the rules before the work begins instead of relying on vague promises.

Stay responsible

Launch isn't an excuse to disappear. Our business is increasingly built around recurring relationships because technology keeps changing after the first release.
