Significant custom projects receive a written scope and quote before work begins. Work outside a defined package has a published engineering rate of $140/hour and is estimated before we start.
Custom web work is built to Bright Bridge's WCAG accessibility engineering standard from the beginning. That is a technical quality bar, not a legal guarantee.

A custom project can sit on top of a website plan.
A business can be on a Managed Website plan and later need something custom. We do not force the entire website into a new pricing model just because one custom feature is needed. The monthly website service can continue while the custom engineering is separately scoped.
If custom functionality requires ongoing engineering support after launch, that recurring requirement is disclosed and agreed to before the custom build begins.
Ownership
Custom-project ownership, accounts, source code, deliverables, and ongoing-support responsibilities are defined in the written project agreement before work begins. Where appropriate, client-controlled core accounts are preferred.
